Grace Djan hails from the Ashanti Region of Ghana. She’s a graduate of the University of Ghana with B.A. honors in Linguistics and Psychology. She currently ministers as administrator at her church (COP Rhema Worship Centre, East Legon) and also in her final year of an MPhil Linguistics program with the University of Ghana. After her first degree, she volunteered as a child attendant in her grandma’s pre-school, where she gathered rich experience with children and her ultimate love for them!
Grace believes in Humanity. She believes in the Bible verse; “whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men” (Colossians 3:23). She is thus driven with passion to make an impact in the lives of people she encounters, especially children, (since such impressions grow with them a lifetime) no matter how minute the impact may be.
Grace loves to warm people’s hearts and to put smiles on their faces. For this reason, she was glad to serve with Ghana Educational Collaborative as Site Manager for the period 2013-2015. Being a role model to the students, mentoring them, following up on their academic progress in their schools as well as having skills based development and mentorship programs with and for them was a delight. She cherished being a part of their respective families by way of home visits!
Serving as a Board Member now means another golden opportunity to serve humanity, impact lives and to grow with the young GEC ‘WORLD INSPIRERES’ every step of the way, even as new students are being enrolled.
